The first ATP Masters 1000 event of the year is here! The Indian Wells Open 2025 also known as the BNP Paribas Open, is set to take place from March 2 to March 16 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California, USA. (More Tennis News)

The tournament will see the return of 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in action, who was sidelined by a hamstring injury that forced him to retire from the Australian Open semi-final. Now playing pain-free, the Serbian will be eyeing his 100th career singles title at Indian Wells. He is a joint five-time Indian Wells winner with Roger Federer.

The two time reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz will defend his men's singles title against a star-studded field featuring Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud, Alex de Minaur, Daniil Medvedev, Tommy Paul, and Andrey Rublev.

If the Spaniard wins the 2025 title, it will mark his first ATP three-peat in the desert since Novak Djokovic who won the titles back in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

The 21-year-old, who won the French Open and Wimbledon earlier this year and also reached the final of the Paris Olympics, has played 50 matches on the ATP Tour last year.

The current world No. 1 Jannik Sinner won't be able to play at the 'Tennis Paradise' as the Italian is serving a doping ban until May.
